Focus on Québec and Francophone communities of Canada
Entrepreneurial stereotypes shape the design of funding programs, incubators and training, and influence financing decisions. Perhaps more importantly, they shape the aspirations and confidence of women. During this Francophone session, we will discuss the gendered and culturally specific assumptions about entrepreneurship and the challenges they present to Francophone women and introduce WEKH’s new See It Be It database of 1,000+ award-winning, Canadian women entrepreneurs.
