As Canada begins to focus on post-pandemic economic recovery, supporting women entrepreneurs is more critical than ever before. The research shows clearly that structural barriers long-faced by women entrepreneurs have been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, an economic and health crisis that has affected women entrepreneurs more than men and has affected Indigenous, racialized and other diverse entrepreneurs most of all. In this session, we’ll discuss how the ecosystem is responding to support women entrepreneurs during this time.
